Bo Cox
Wanganui Phone 06 344 7920 Mobile 027 947 9207 |
Buying Area: Wanganui
Bo took over the Wanganui Agency from brother and sister-in-law, Colin & Bev, at the beginning of 2013 and operates from their home in Gondville, Wanganui. Bo is available to hunters from his shed situated at his home where he also buys possum skins for Basically Bush. As grading of possum skins takes time it is best to phone before arriving so that you won’t be delayed. He also travels to Taihape twice monthly to buy from hunters in that area. It is best to contact Bo to get details of his buying runs. Although Bo has been out of the industry for several years, he and brother Colin were involved in the very early days of possum fibre when all fibre for possum-merino yarn was sliped. They bought many thousands of possum skins that were sliped for fur fibre so Bo knows a good skin when he sees one and is very happy to impart his knowledge to the hunters. |
